Tech Dump

Hello! It's me!
Since I've started this blog, I've gotten more and more into technology. I have a job based around computers, and I run Linux Mint at home as my base operating system.
I also went to college for Network Administration, for those unacquainted with this blog.

Anyway, over the past few months, I've found some pretty great resources, websites, and podcasts, that I use, visit, or listen to almost every day!

If this sort of thing interests you, they will be linked down below with a description explaining what I use them for, or what they're used for period.

If you have any questions, comment below. (I haven't used this in a while. If there's a way to message me, feel free to)

DISTROWATCH: Website
This website is all about Linux. You can find the Distro for you on here, for sure!

They also post news about Linux and BSD. Each week, they highlight a different distro, talk about some news, and answer a user question, called DistroWatch Weekly, and it's published on Mondays. It's sometimes in audio form, but not always.

SUPER USER: Website
This website is a forum site where you can ask questions about your OS. It's basically one big knowledge base.

BLEEPING COMPUTER: Website
A news website that's mostly security related, with some general computer stuff mixed in. There are also some resources on there for you to use.

PORTABLE APPS: Resource
This website as a variety of apps for you to use either as a technician's tool, or just some fun thing to play with in your free time. All you need is a flash drive.

TAILS: Operating System
This is a LIVE OPERATING SYSTEM. The website explains what TAILS is and means. TL;DR, It's a totally anonymous OS that, if you're careful enough, cannot be traced. You are able to eject this from your computer at any time to kill the OS, with no data loss to your computer, or the flash drive.

MINTCAST: Podcast
I've only been listening to this for a few weeks, but it's a good way to get yourself knowledgeable to the world of Linux, and computers in general. It's just friends talking about friend things, and Linux. I highly recommend.

I will post more as I get more. These are just the ones I use right now.

Happy Haunting!
